Portfolio

I have had the pleasure of working on a number of individual projects over the past few years. These have mainly been developing (or redeveloping) WordPress websites, but they have also involved looking at other technologies in support of particular organisations.

The key projects have been:

A WordHack to create a WordPress site importing UK Aid data

CED are a small UK charity that supports communities in the developing world with technical expertise.

Supporting a community survey on work and spirituality in Glasgow City Centre.

A short but fun project to set up a community activist site to help improve the train service on the East Kilbride line.

Tetrahedra is my own “micro-agency” building websites mainly for charities and small businesses in Glasgow. The site design is by Harrisment.

Business in Glasgow (BiG) is a Glasgow-based charity helping people make connections between work and spirituality. The BiG site required me to write a completely custom theme, particularly to highlight the upcoming events and occasional features.

Adelaides is a children’s nursery, guest house and auditorium in the city centre of Glasgow, run as a business venture by Adelaide Place Baptist Church. This site uses WordPress to allow the centre management to easily update content.

I am a member of Adelaide Place Baptist Church and created the first church website in 2001. The site has been through several revisions since, the latest one in Wordpress, using a modified Almost Spring theme.
