The main differences:

  • New colour scheme and banner image inspired by the other BiG marketing material.
  • Simplified navigation structure – many of the pages were superfluous and it was potentially difficult for the main users to find information. Removing the left hand menu also provides much more space for content.
  • As I’ve also refactored and renormalised the database I could add a few more usefully linked pages, such as People and Venue pages.
  • I’ve added Google Maps to the Venue pages, to help people find where the venues are.
