Tetrahedra is a Glasgow-based web development agency that specialises in developing websites and online solutions for charities and small businesses.
Many of my clients have severely limited budgets and a variety of different requirements. The Portfilio page describes some of their situations and challenges. Many of the web solutions are based on the WordPress open source content management system.
My blog also deals with my views and experiences of web technology as I hack around with stuff I know (WordPress, PHP, Microsoft .NET, MySQL), grapple with new concepts, learn new skills and read other people’s blogs.
And the name?
A tetrahedron is a polyhedron composed of four triangular faces, and is one of the fundamental mineral structures in nature, the basis of many silicate minerals.
The name describes the many-faceted nature of this blog, looking at a wide range of technologies and approaches, and also links to my previous career in geology.
